good location but room for improvement

The location was right off the highway. The bed was comfortable, great to rest well after a long journey. We appreciated having access to numerous local attraction brochures, which helped us plan our visit. The breakfast area included a decent variety of items, and the coffee was fresh every morning.

The cleanliness of the room could have been better.

The location is comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly and excellent. Moreover, getting to the lake on foot takes 30 minutes. It has perfect and perfectly clean rooms to offer with comfy beds and old chocolate, as example.

We love everything about this location, the staff, the rooms, the breakfast. Can not say enough great things about this place !

We loved the free breakfast and the location was perfect for visiting the Indiana Dunes and Blue Chip Casino. The room selection process via mobile check-in was super convenient.

The room was absolutely perfect and fairly quiet and I enjoyed the stay for a weekend getaway. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I had spacious bathroom.

The gym had some good equipment for a workout.

The stay here was fantastic as it gave easy access to the nearby Portage Imagination Glen Park and the picturesque Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk Pavilion, making my weekend strolls enjoyable with fine views around every corner.

The room had a comforting atmosphere, yet the cleanliness was seriously lacking.

Cleanliness standards need improvement!!! Several maintenance issues like broken fixtures and a faulty toilet require immediate attention!!! Internet connection in some rooms can be frustratingly poor!!! Fitness center equipment appears outdated!!!

The stay was primarily for a family gathering and we were quite excited about it. Although I appreciated that my room was clean upon arrival, we encountered ongoing issues like a broken toilet and a lack of extra towels for our family. The breakfast options were disappointing. There were no eggs available one morning and the overall selection felt insufficient. Access to local attraction brochures made planning our activities easier.

Free coffee and tea were available throughout the day. Unfortunately, issues like broken air conditioning during a heatwave significantly impacted comfort, and the breakfast area seating arrangement was less than family-friendly, with an awkward bar-like setup taking up space.

The bed was terrific. I got a great night's sleep and the room was tidy, which I appreciated. The exercise room operated 24 hours, really convenient for early morning workouts. I found the breakfast options lacking-only fresh coffee available one morning because the breakfast nook was closed for maintenance. It was disappointing that two ice machines weren't working, and the parking lot felt a bit dark with only a couple of lights working.

The hampton inn had a great fitness center and free wi-fi. The breakfast area was spacious and clean. I also appreciated the polite service from the staff , which helped create a cute atmosphere.

The room I stayed in was absolutely perfect and quiet, with comfortable beds. The staff were superbly friendly and consistently courteous. The location was marvelous, very close to the beach.

The room was spotless and well-maintained with cozy beds and complimentary chocolate.
